Bookies have cut odds on Wolves signing Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere.

Wolves have been named as surprise contenders to sign Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to bookies Ladbrokes.
Wilshere is out of contract at the end of the season and has not been able to agree a contract extension with the Gunners.
Everton are the favourites, with Ladbrokes listing the Toffees as 4/1 for his signature.
Now Wolves have seen their own odds price at just 6/1 to sign Wilshere.

Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati told HITC: “It’s looking increasingly likely Wilshere will finally be moving on this summer, and the latest odds suggest Wolves could be shock contenders for his signature.”
Wolves are on the brink of sealing promotion to the Premier League with their runaway success in the Championship fuelled by savvy investment, with midfielder Ruben Neves the star.
Adding Wilshere would strengthen them further, without requiring a big transfer fee.
Wolves’ strong finances mean they will not struggle with Wilshere’s salary demands, although like any club they must weigh up whether his injury history means he is worth the risk.
In name value alone, signing Wilshere would be a big statement, and demonstrate Wolves intention to try and battle the likes of Everton for the top half positions in the Premier League next season.
