The Portugal midfielder is reported to be the subject of a tug-of-war between Wolves and agent Jorge Mendes.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves could be in line to join Juventus in January, according to a new report from Italy.
The 21-year-old has been impressive for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side since his 2017 switch from Portuguese giants Porto.
Neves, a nine-cap Portugal international, has made 57 appearances for Wolves, scoring eight goals and helping the side achieve promotion from the Championship last season.
This term, he has played 15 times in the Premier League en route to steering the West Midlanders into the top half of the table.
However, the latest report on Neves’ future has cast further doubt on his future amid a number of seemingly conflicting reports and messages.
The Telegraph claimed a fortnight ago that Wolves will not be selling the Portuguese star in January.

A new report from Calciomercato, however, claims that agent Jorge Mendes is pushing for Neves to join Juve as early as the New Year.
So it appears that there may be a tug-of-war between agent and club regarding the player’s future, which in itself is complicated enough.
Now, factor in a clip that has emerged on Twitter this week of Mendes appearing to be getting the initial outline of a wolf tattoo on his upper arm:
Altogether, this all makes for a very confusing narrative which surely looks set to rumble on in the next few weeks.
