The Borussia Dortmund ace would be a solid addition to the Wolverhampton Wanderers squad.

Nuno Espirito Santo has a lot of work to do at Molineux this summer, if he is to guide his side to a successful campaign upon their return to the Premier League this season.
One area where the Portuguese will surely want to strengthen is his left-back department, with more competition required for Barry Douglas, and with this in mind, they should challenge Huddersfield Town for Borussia Dortmund ace Erik Durm.

According to German publication Sport Bild, the Terriers are interested in bringing the 26-year-old to the John Smith’s Stadium this summer, but Wolves would surely be able to outbid their Premier League rivals.
Durm joined Dortmund from Mainz in the summer of 2013, and he has gone on to make 97 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.

Whilst his primary position is left-back, he can also fill in at right-back, and with Nuno also rumoured to be on the look-out for a right sided defender, the seven-capped Germany international seems to be the ideal addition for Wolves this summer.
The Dortmund ace is quick along the ground, a competent defender, and he plays with an impressive level of maturity, considering the fact that he is only 26.

Durm is a naturally attacking full-back – something that makes him ideally suited to Nuno’s preferred 3-4-3 system.
It is unclear as to whether Dortmund are actually willing to sell the German, but Wolves should test their resolve with a summer bid nevertheless.
And if Nuno does in fact manage to bring him to Molineux, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Black Country outfit.
