The Wolverhampton Wanderers academy graduate now has eight goals in his last five games for the Molineux U23s.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-23s may have gone down to a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Liverpool Under-23s at the weekend but it was yet another fruitful afternoon for Benny Ashley-Seal, with Wolves showing off one of his goals from the day on their academy’s Twitter channel.
The 20-year-old continued his prolific form for the Molineux youngsters by netting twice against the Reds U23s on Sunday, picking himself up after being fouled in the box to convert a penalty and cancel out Rhian Brewster’s opener for his first of the afternoon.
Although Liverpool retook and then extended their lead through Herbie Kane, Leighton Clarkson and a second from Brewster, Ashley-Seal went on to also claim his second of the game to make it 4-2 and substitute Boubacar Hanne then netted in the 89th minute to set up a dramatic finale.
Ashley-Seal’s second, a neat curling shot from just inside the box, put him on eight goals from his last five games, and a good finish it was too:
Ashley-Seal, who was previously on the books of Norwich City and once thought to be on the radar of Chelsea and Leicester City (Birmingham Mail), penned a new Wolves deal in January until the end of the 2021-22 campaign (official Wolves site).
