Wolves should consider a move for defender Ruben Dias.

Wolves’ transfer dealings in Portugal have provided the cornerstone of their success. Three of their stars are celebrating becoming Nations League champions.
Now it is time for Wolves to consider adding one of the team’s brightest prospects, Ruben Dias.
Dias starred in central defence as Portugal kept a clean sheet against Holland in the final.
The Benfica centre-back is expensive, but his £52 million release clause is not unreasonable.
At 22, Dias is one of the most promising centre-backs in Europe and is already a league champion with Benfica.

He has become a regular after replacing Victor Lindelöf since his move to Manchester United.
Wolves have shown their spending power since winning promotion, but have bought shrewdly.
Dias would be a record breaking transfer for the club. He would also be great value for money based on his current level of performance and trajectory.
In a transfer market where Matthijs de Ligt is worth potentially double Dias’ transfer fee, the Portuguese youngster is priced moderately.
If Wolves want to reach the next level, paying up for Dias would be a statement of intent.
