Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with Mario Balotelli in recent weeks.

According to Sports Illustrated, DC United have reached out to super agent Mino Raiola over the possibility of bringing striker Mario Balotelli to the MLS this summer.
The Italy international, who has netted 14 goals for Nice this season, is out of contract with the Ligue 1 outfit this summer and will likely leave France on a free transfer.
Despite a series of controversial incidents which marred his early career, Balotelli looks to be focusing on his football at the moment and there will be no shortage of takers.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are among those linked with the former Manchester City hitman and Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo should be enthused about his chances of bringing him to Molineux, if DC United are in the running.

No disrespect to United, but Balotelli, at 27, still has plenty to offer an elite European league and Wolves ought to be a bit more optimistic about their prospects if they’re battling teams from the MLS.
Chances are, Balotelli will know he is too good for that division and disappointing spells with City and Liverpool may suggest that he has unfinished business in the Premier League, which suits newly-promoted Wanderers.
Bottom line is that if DC United fancy their chances then Wolves definitely should.
