Foot Mercato have reported that Pablo Sarabia is set to undergo a medical on the weekend, before officially signing for Wolves in January.

It was as recently as on Thursday where it was first claimed that Julen Lopetegui and Co. had tabled an offer to sign the PSG attacker.

Now, it seems like a medical seems imminent for Sarabia, before he dons a Wolves shirt in a deal which could be completed in a matter of a couple of days.

A claim from Jeunes Footeaux suggested that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to demand £16 million to sell the Spanish international.

It seems as if the club were aiming to almost fully recover the initial £17.7 million fee they paid to sign the 30-year-old (Bleacher Report).

From a Wolves’ perspective, signing a player of the stature of Pablo Sarabia is huge news, who looks set to undergo a medical.

Considering Sarabia has played for one of Europe’s biggest powerhouses in PSG for years on end now, the fact that he is willing to join genuine relegation candidates is a welcome update for the Molineux faithful.

Now, it seems a transfer is almost guaranteed to get over the line.

As reported by Foot Mercato, a medical at Wolves has been scheduled for Pablo Sarabia on the weekend, which makes his switch to Wolves imminent.

In total, the Premier League side could have to pay £6.2 million, with £4.4 million as the initial fee and almost £1.8 million in bonuses.

This is huge news from a Wolves perspective, as they are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements such as Pablo Sarabia, who now is a medical away from joining the club.

The hope for the club remains that Sarabia hits the ground running and ensures they climb up the table, and fast.
