The Wolverhampton Wanderers wing-back has committed his long-term future to the Molineux club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers wing-back Ruben Vinagre has posted a Twitter message for the Molineux fanbase after committing his future to the Premier League club until 2024 (official Wolves website).
The 20-year-old joined Wolves, initially on loan, from French club AS Monaco, making his senior debut for the West Midlands club on 8 August in the EFL Cup victory against Yeovil Town.
Although Vinagre initially got relatively little game time for Wolves in their Championship-winning season, making just 14 appearances in all competitions (Transfermarkt), the club went on to make the move permanent the following summer.
Since then, the player has gone from strength to strength, his upward trajectory coinciding nicely with that of the club as they enjoyed a superb debut season back in the Premier League, finishing seventh and reaching the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Following promotion to the top flight, the youngster featured in 17 league games and 21 in all appearances, and ahead of the 2019-20 season, he has now penned a long-term contract.
Vinagre shared the club video of his renewal as well as his own message on Twitter:
Naturally, Wolves fans were delighted to see such a talented youngster commit his future to Molineux and some wished him all the best on the social media platform:
Ex-teammate Ivan Cavaleiro also congratulated him:
Vinagre will be hoping to be in action for Wolves’ first competitive game of the season, the Europa League qualifier against Crusaders on Thursday night.
