HITC Sport understands Wolves have rewarded youngster with a new deal.
Wolves starlet Connor Hunte has been rewarded for his progress at the club with a new deal at Molineux, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Hunte has impressed Wolves boss Kenny Jackett in recent weeks and was called up to the first-team by being named on the bench for the last two games against Brentford and Derby County.
Hunte has also caught the eye as a regular in Wolves’ under-21s side this season and the attacking midfielder is being tipped to make his first-team debut before the end of the campaign.
Former England Under-17 international Hunte joined Wolves in the summer of 2014 a year after leaving Chelsea.
Hunte was highly-regarded at Chelsea and was handed a three-and-a-half year deal at Stamford Bridge before leaving under a cloud.
Jackett is a big fan of Hunte and sees the attacker as playing a key role in his long-term plans at Molineux.
The 19-year-old has now been handed a contract extension to secure his long-term future and as a reward for his hard work during the last 12 months.
