Nuno’s Wolverhampton Wanderers and Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa reportedly want Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.

The Villans are reported to have retained their interest in the 21-year-old defender, who is one of the best in the Scottish Premiership.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, September 30, 3018), the Villans have recently scouted the Scotland international (click here to read more).
However, the report has also claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers have looked at McKenna – and this is a problem for Villa.
True, the Villans are a massive club and could well be in the Premier League next season, but Wolves are a hugely ambitious outfit and have grand plans for the future.

The way the Wanderers won promotion from the Championship last season and how they are going about their business in the Premier League so far this campaign suggest that they are here to stay.
Wolves is a much better prospect than Villa at the moment, and McKenna – who was valued at £10 million by Aberdeen in the summer, as reported by The Daily Record – could be tempted to move to the Molineux Stadium rather than to Villa Park.
