The Wolves striker is a fan favourite at Molineux and has impressed in the Premier League and FA Cup this term.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez has made an emotional admission when it came to describing the club’s fans and the songs they sing about him.
The 28-year-old recalled how, when he was young, he would hear the fans sing the names of his team’s standout players, suggesting he never quite had the same recognition until now.
Jimenez is a fan favourite at Molineux, having been sensational in his first season in English football since moving on an initial loan from Benfica last summer.
The Mexico international’s 13 goals and eight assists in the Premier League have helped Wolves seal seventh place in the table, a remarkable achievement in their first season back in the top flight.
Likewise, Jimenez’s four goals in six FA Cup games were crucial in Nuno Espirito Santo’s charges reaching the semi-finals of the competition.
Indeed, Wolves fans had been urging the club to make the deal permanent, and when it was confirmed in early April, there was an outpouring of delight on social media.

“All the supporters have been amazing throughout the season and I’m very proud of them,” Jimenez told the official Wolves website. “We are very happy for all the support, throughout the season, from these amazing people.
“I have no words to describe the songs they sing about me. When I was young I used to hear the fans singing the names of the other players in the stands. Now it’s my turn and I’m very happy for that.”
Wolves wrap up their Premier League season with a trip to Liverpool on Sunday and as such could play a major role in the title race with Manchester City also vying for the trophy.
