Tottenham Hotspur and Daniel Levy seem to have impressed Wolverhampton Wanderers Executive Chairman Jeff Shi.

Shi has also praised Tottenham for how they have achieved success in recent years, and has stated that the North London outfit are the benchmark.
“I think Tottenham is the benchmark,” Shi told The Times. “Of course we are not the same, but in my understanding and knowledge of the last 10 years, Daniel [Levy] did a very good job.
“I think he is the best CEO in the Premier League so far and without much funding has built a very strong team, very good academy, very good young players, and kept his club working very highly and strong. We can learn from them.”

Tottenham Hotspur’s success
Tottenham have been hugely successful in recent years, and without spending a lot of money on players like Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool have.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has transformed Tottenham from struggling to break into the top four of the Premier League to a team who are consistently challenging for the league title.
It must be very flattering for Tottenham that an ambitious club like Wolves are looking at them as inspiration.
While it is hard to see Wolves fight for the Premier League or even for the top four anytime soon, the Wanderers could follow in the footsteps of Spurs and gradually establish themselves among the elite teams in the top flight of English football.
Tottenham will face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
