Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Nouha Dicko cannot wait for the club’s derby clash against Aston Villa.
Nouha Dicko scores the second goal for Wolves
Ever since his return for Wolves against Norwich, fans have been eagerly anticipating the return to full form for Nouha Dicko.
Judging by his recent Checkatrade Trophy performance as well as his optimistic attitude, it seems likely that they will not have to wait much longer. The 24-year-old is clearly loving being back in the first team conversation and as reported by Express & Star, Dicko has spoken about the upcoming clash with local rivals Aston Villa.
The forward’s two goals against Crewe Alexandra highlighted the kind of thing that Wolves fans will be looking forward to, and his potential partnership with fan favourite Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has also got people talking.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” he said.

“The derby is always exciting and you can tell everyone is excited, the people in Wolverhampton and the Villa fans as well.
“I hope I can play my part but the most important thing is we get a win because it would mean so much to the team, to the fans and for the season as well.
Wolves Manager Walter Zenga
“We have to do well and win this game – that’s what we’re going there to do.”
The enthusiasm may turn into more of a worry by the time the game rolls around, with many fans already getting on the back of manager Walter Zenga following the club’s inconsistent start to the Championship campaign. Despite this, the overall sense of occasion that a game of this magnitude brings is sure to indulge the Wolves faithful.
