Wolves defender Dominic Iorfa looks set to move on in 2019.

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ rapid progression means that some players may not go along for the entire ride, and we have already seen them offload players who have been key over the years.
Barry Douglas and Benik Afobe were both allowed to go over the summer, and more players with plenty of Championship appearances for the club are likely to leave too as Wolves chase Premier League success.
The Birmingham Mail now report that Dominic Iorfa is one such player, as he is ready to leave in January having been frozen out at Molineux under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Iorfa, 23, spent last season out on loan at Ipswich Town before returning to Wolves, where he couldn’t find an exit route – and he has been handed just the two appearances this term, both in the Checkatrade Trophy.
The defender was a top young talent for Wolves having joined from Southend United at the age of just 15, making 13 caps for the England Under-21’s as he looked destined for a big future – but he has somewhat lost his way during Wolves’ rise.
A move to a Championship club looks imminent, and West Bromwich Albion should explore a bargain deal with their bitter rivals given that Iorfa’s deal expires at the end of the season.

West Brom desperately need help at right back, and Iorfa has raw tools that Darren Moore can work with. He’s tall, versatile and very quick, but is now entering a key stage of his career where he needs detailed development – and that isn’t about to arrive at Wolves, where he isn’t wanted.
Staying close to where he currently resides whilst playing more regularly could help Iorfa, and West Brom – as unlikely as it may seem – should be looking to polish Iorfa up in 2019 in a deal to bolster Moore’s defensive options.
