Wolverhampton Wanderers saw off Crusaders to keep the Europa League adventure going for the Molineux club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has taken to Twitter with his post-match assessment of the Molineux side’s 4-1 Europa League win over Crusaders on Thursday night.
Things began badly for Wolves in Belfast as Ryan Bennett’s own goal gave the Irish League hosts the lead on 13 minutes but it was rectified almost immediately as Raul Jimenez’s swift turn and strike levelled the scores on the night.
Bennett then made amends at the other end when he headed home on 38 minutes before Jimenez, in his first Wolves game after helping Mexico to the Gold Cup, rifled high into the Hatchetmen’s top corner just before the break.
With the overall result now a foregone conclusion, the second half petered out somewhat, though there was still time for another goal, Jordan Forsythe seeing his attempted clearance loop over keeper Sean O’Neill and into his own net with 13 minutes left.
Gibbs-White, who came on for Jimenez just before the hour and had a chance when through on goal late on, wrote the following message on social media:
Some Wolves fans – and teammate Dion Sanderson – replied to the talented Molineux youngster on the platform following the 6-1 aggregate win:
Up next for Wolves is a 6,370 mile round trip to Armenia to face Pyunik next week in the next qualifying round after they defeated Jablonec over two legs.
