Wolves linked Iuri Medeiros admits he faces an uncertain future.

Sporting Lisbon winger Iuri Medeiros has admitted he faces an uncertain future at Sporting Lisbon and does not know if he will be at the club next season.

Portuguese newspaper O Jogo reported last month, that Wolves are keen on the Portugal under-21 international.

He has this week disclosed that he still does now know where he will be playing next season.

Medeiros spent last season on loan at Boavista and is hoping he has done enough to earn a spot in Sporting’s first team next season.

If he is deemed expendable for another year then another loan move could be on the cards, and that’s where Wolves would fit in.

He told O Jogo: “”My goal is to stay on the squad, but I still do not know what’s going to happen. Now I’ll have to wait for a decision from Mr. Jorge Jesus [manager].

“Jorge has not told me anything, but I have the impression that he has liked what I have done.”

Medeiros is a bright talent who has won 19 caps for Portugal at under-21 level.

Signing him permanently will not be easy. O Jogo report he has a 60 million Euro release clause.

Last season he scored seven goals for Boavista’s first team and provided nine assists, and Portuguese newspaper A Bola reported that AS Roma had made an enquiry over his services.
