Wolverhampton Wanderers are now outright favourites to sign the Liverpool playmaker, but Norwich City are also in the mix.

Bet Victor have now installed Wolverhampton Wanderers as clear favourites to sign Liverpool playmaker Luis Alberto.
Last week, Wolves and Sevilla – from where Alberto joined Liverpool in 2013 – were rated as 4/1 co-favourites to sign the 23-year-old.

However, Wanderers now lead the way for his signature according to Bet Victor, who have priced Wolves as 2/1 favourites to sign the former Barcelona B man, with Sevilla now 6/1.
Championship duo Norwich City and Fulham are both next on the list at 8/1.
Wolves, taken over by Fosun International, could afford the £6 million fee which The Liverpool Echo have claimed that the Reds would want for the Spaniard.

Norwich could potentially stump up that figure too, having taken in £10 million from selling Nathan Redmond and only spent a quarter of that on bringing Sergi Canos in from Liverpool, but it remains to be seen how much Alex Neil has to spend.
Sky Sports reported last week that Norwich did offer £10 million for Ross McCormack – now at Aston Villa – so Neil might well have the figures.
In any case, Alberto seems likely to leave Liverpool, having made just nine appearances in three years for the club and spent the last two seasons out on loan with Malaga and Deportivo La Coruna in his homeland.
