Three West Ham United players – Issa Diop, Ryan Fredericks and Mark Noble – make the cut thanks to their displays in the impressive 1-0 win away at Tottenham Hotspur.
Burnley, Liverpool and Leicester City have two players each after the Clarets gave Manchester City a tough time in their 1-0 defeat, while the Reds and the Foxes beat Huddersfield Town and Arsenal respectively.

Tom Heaton and Ben Mee impressed against the reigning Premier League champions and made Shearer’s TOTW, while Foxes duo Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy were included, as were Reds pair Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah.
Wolves also triumphed in their game against Watford, moving four points clear of Watford in the race for seventh place in the table.
Goals from Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota helped Nuno Espirito Santo’s side earn all three points at Vicarage Road in a rematch of their FA Cup semi-final.

However, Shearer’s choice not to include any of the Wanderers players in his squad led to some criticism on Twitter by some of the Old Gold faithful:
