Wolves beat Watford 2-1 but Shearer’s Team of the Week didn’t include any of their players.

Alan Shearer works for the BBC at the end of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Semi Final match between Croatia and England at Luzhniki Stadium on July 11, 2018 in Moscow, Russia.

Tom Heaton and Ben Mee impressed against the reigning Premier League champions and made Shearer’s TOTW, while Foxes duo Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy were included, as were Reds pair Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah.

Wolves also triumphed in their game against Watford, moving four points clear of Watford in the race for seventh place in the table.

Goals from Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota helped Nuno Espirito Santo’s side earn all three points at Vicarage Road in a rematch of their FA Cup semi-final.
