Wolverhampton Wanderers have brought the Azerbaijan international to Molineux before loaning him out to Diogo Jota’s old club.

A number of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the Molineux club signing Azerbaijan international striker Renat Dadashov, as confirmed by the Wolves website.
The 20-year-old has joined Wolves from Portuguese club Estoril on a four-year deal, though he has returned to Portugal on loan with Pacos de Ferreira – the club where Diogo Jota came through the ranks.
Dadashov, who scored four times in 22 Liga Pro appearances last season, is a senior Azerbaijan international with three caps, the most recent of which came in this summer’s Euro 2020 qualifiers against Hungary and Slovakia.
As reported by the Birmingham Mail, the forward – who becomes Wolves’ fifth summer signing – has also represented Germany at youth level and scored 13 goals in 15 appearances for their Under-17s.
Here is what some Old Gold faithful said on social media regarding Dadashov’s arrival:
Dadashov has linked up with Wolves this summer along with Jesus Vallejo, Patrick Cutrone and Portuguese pair Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s charges get their Premier League campaign under way with a trip to Leicester City on Sunday, though they will first head to Armenia for their Europa League qualifier against FC Piunik.
