The Wolves winger is called up to the Under-21s for the first time as they prepare for the European Championships.
Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Morgan Gibbs-White has been rewarded for his impressive exploits in the season just gone by being named in the England Under-21s squad to take part in the upcoming European Championships.
The 19-year-old, who made 31 appearances in all competitions for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team this season (Transfermarkt), has previously represented the Three Lions up to Under-19s level (Transfermarkt) but this is his first call-up to the U21s.
Molineux star Gibbs-White is the only new face in Aidy Boothroyd’s 23-man squad, which features the likes of Phil Foden, James Maddison, Demarai Gray, Tammy Abraham, Harvey Barnes and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The U21s Euros take place in Italy and San Marino next month, running from June 16-30, with England – who reached the semi-finals two years ago – set to face France, Romania and Croatia in the group stage.
Gibbs-White is one of several Wolves players set to play for their country following the club’s superb season back in the top flight, finishing seventh in the table, earning a Europa League spot and reaching the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
