Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Morgan Gibbs-White has been named in the top 10 teenage talents in world football according to a Goal.com poll.

The 19-year-old finished tenth in the 2019 Goal NxGn Award rankings, ahead of the likes of Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon (11th), Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster (31st) and Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe (32nd).

Gibbs-White has appeared 21 times for Wolves in the Premier League this season, although just four of those outings have been made as a starter, and in total, he has made 26 appearances in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.

The Stafford-born player has been capped by England at various youth levels up to and including Under-19, and signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract early last year, tying him to Molineux until June 2022.

Wolves’ official Twitter account posted a status about Gibbs-White, congratulating him for the accolade:

Some Old Gold faithful also expressed their thoughts about the accolade on the social media platform:

According to the Daily Mail, Gibbs-White – who just missed out on a first England Under-21s call-up – is in contention for the Young Lions’ Euro 2019 campaign in Italy and San Marino this summer.

This month he was involved in the England Under-19s’ bid to reach their age group European Championships in Armenia.
