Wolves have reacted to high ticket prices from Leeds United.
Wolves are not only top of the league on the pitch, but they are proving a class act off it too.
The Championship leaders announced yesterday they would be subsidising tickets for fans for the fixture next month at Elland Road.
The reason for this is not simply as a gesture of goodwill, its that Wolves felt the £37 ticket away price to fans was unacceptably high.
Wolves want their fans to travel in numbers for the midweek trip, and have pledged to pay up so that fans will only have to pay £30 per ticket, the club announced on their official website.
While there was big praise for Wolves CEO Laurie Dalrymple, fans directed their ire at Leeds United for the high ticket prices in the first place.
Wolves fans were very forthright over their views, but Leeds United fans had some sympathy despite their ire being directed towards their club.
Leeds fans are not comfortable with the prices being charged by the club, and expressed their disappointment last July when the figures for the season were announced.
Supporters commented on Twitter yesterday criticising their own club in reaction to the course of action taken by Wolves.
