The 23-year-old playmaker has interested a whole host of Premier League sides in recent weeks, including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Sky Sports, Everton are leading the race to sign Maddison, who was one of the Championship’s stand-out performers last season.
The Norwich star looks likely to secure a move to the top flight, but fans of newly-promoted Wolves would love to see him at Molineux in time for the 2018-19 campaign.
Maddison posted a message on Twitter on Friday, and here is how Wolves supporters responded:
Maddison is indeed a fine talent but it seems unlikely that he will end up at Wolves, specifically because some much bigger clubs are interested.
Liverpool and Tottenham are two clubs who are very hard for any player to turn down and, frankly, it would be a minor miracle if Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo manages to edge out teams of that calibre to sign the young Englishman.
