Wolverhampton Wanderers fans want Adama Traore to be given more chances.

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have responded to Adama Traore’s post-match tweet on Sunday.

Wolves went down 2-0 to Huddersfield at Molineux on Sunday afternoon.

As a result, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side now only have one win from their last six Premier League games.

Wolves are still 11th in the Premier League and eight points clear of danger, so relegation isn’t a problem for the newly-promoted side just yet.

And Adama, a summer signing from Middlesbrough, has encouraged his team-mates not to look for excuses, but to accept the defeat and learn from it.

Here’s how he reacted on Twitter:

The former Barcelona target looked a handful at times yesterday, but only one of his 11 Premier League appearances have been from the start. Ten of them have been cameos, and some Wolves fans are telling the Portuguese manager to start putting him in his first XI.

Adama is definitely a nuisance of a player, in two senses of the word.

He can be an absolute nightmare for opposition defences, due to his speed, but he can also be fiercely inconsistent, making him a frustrating proposition for his own manager.

Nuno, who led Wolves to Premier League promotion, knows what he is doing, and if he asserts that the 22-year-old isn’t ready to play from the start then Wanderers fans must trust his judgement.
