Wolverhampton Wanderers fans react to Twitter update of Romain Saiss

Wolves are at a warm-weather training camp in Marbella and some fans jokingly urged the combative midfielder not to hurt his teammates.

It’s a great time to be a Wolverhampton Wanderers fan at this moment in time, with Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side flying high in the Premier League and into the latter stages of the FA Cup.

Wolves currently sit seventh in the table, a superb achievement considering the top six are Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Speaking of which, Liverpool’s talent and form was no match for Nuno’s charges in the third round of the FA Cup, as they knocked one of the early favourites out of the competition.

The fourth round of the cup wasn’t quite as straightforward, mind, with Wolves labouring to a replay and a narrow second-tie win over Shrewsbury Town, shipping four goals in those games.

But that’s now in the past, the springboard is there, and right now the Molineux contingent is in Marbella for a warm-weather training camp, where they are preparing for the business end of the campaign.

The official Wolves Twitter account has been keeping the Old Gold faithful updated with their grafting in Spain, with one post featuring a relentless and hard-working Romain Saiss:

Saiss didn’t have the best first half of the season as he played just 16 minutes of top-flight football prior to November 30, but since then he has featured in all but one of the subsequent league fixtures (Transfermarkt).
