The Wolves full-back and Spain international has joined the Premier League outfit permanently from Atletico Madrid.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have officially completed the permanent signing of Jonny Castro Otto from Atletico Madrid.
The 24-year-old full-back joined the Molineux outfit on loan during the summer after having swapped Celta Vigo for Atleti, and has made 22 appearances for Wolves in all competitions.
Jonny has been an instrumental part of the newly-promoted Premier League side’s impressive campaign so far, which sees them seventh in the table after 24 games.
He scored his first Premier League goal in a 2-0 home win over Southampton in September and his form also saw him win his first full Spain cap in the autumn.
Wolves made the announcement on Thursday afternoon, confirming that the Spaniard had agreed a permanent deal until 2023, while Sky Sports News have claimed that he has been signed for an £18m fee, equalling the club record.
On Twitter, the West Midlanders even appeared to have a dig at recent media reports which apparently suggested Otto was “heartbroken” by Atletico’s decision to sell him:
Needless to say, the announcement and all the surrounding updates were very well received by Wolves fans on Twitter:
Otto sent a tweet of his own too, which some fans responded to:
