Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are delighted by what Willy Boly said yesterday.

When interviewed by Wolves fan Gary Powndland on Facebook, Boly, on loan from Porto, admitted that he wanted to stay with the Premier League-bound side after a brilliant Championship season.

The 27-year-old defender has played a starring role in helping Wolves win promotion back to the top flight.

And some fans on Twitter are delighted by the revelation that he hopes to remain a Wanderers man beyond this summer.

According to The Telegraph, Wolves will have to pay around £10 million to sign the former Auxerre youth, and it’ll be money very well spent.

The French centre-back has been an absolute rock for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side and few would doubt his capacity to prove equally as solid in the Premier League next term, if Nuno gets a deal done that is.

Signing any player is never without its complications, even if they have already spent a season there on loan, but if Boly wants to stay then that might be half the battle.
