Wolves beat Manchester United 2-1 at Molineux last night.

Wolverhampton Wanderers prepared for their FA Cup semi-final in perfect fashion as they beat Manchester United 2-1 at Molineux last night.
Wolves were looking to bounce back from a defeat at Burnley on Saturday, but struggled to get to grips with United early on.
The Red Devils took the lead when Scott McTominay drilled a long-range effort into the corner, and Wolves had Rui Patricio to thank for close-range saves from Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard headers.
Wolves eventually settled down, and equalised when Diogo Jota fired home from Raul Jimenez’s smart pass, ensuring Wolves went into the break level at 1-1.
Ashley Young then picked up a red card for United, and Wolves took the lead through a Chris Smalling own goal, with the ball going over the line in scrappy fashion.
Wolves won’t care though, grabbing a fine win ahead of their Wembley meeting with Watford this weekend, with a host of players impressing at Molineux on Tuesday night.

One of the star performers though was left wing back Ruben Vinagre, as the 19-year-old was handed a start over Jonny, and turned in a superb display both defensively and going forward, showing his blistering pace and technical ability throughout.
Wolves fans have been taking to Twitter to hail Vinagre as a future world beater and a simply frightening talent who will be ‘incredible’, with one fan even comparing him to Gareth Bale – another speedster who used to feature as a left wing back.
