Wolverhampton Wanderers and Reading went head-to-head this weekend with the Royals coming out on top.

Wolverhampton Wanderers had another result to forget this weekend as they lost 2-1 away to Reading despite an impressive overall performance.
Wolves scored their goal via Ben Marshall, who quickly equalised after Yann Kermogant had opened the scoring for the hosts. But Paul McShane proved to be the match winner before Mike Williamson saw red late on to see the visitors play out the remaining minutes with 10 men.
In a surprising move from Wolves manager Paul Lambert, defensive midfielder Romain Saiss was recalled to the starting line-up after sitting out the previous 10 league matches, and the 26-year-old did not disappoint on his return to the side.
However his performance was not enough to ensure Wolves took all three points and it was another disappointing day for a side that really should be considerably higher in the Championship table given the players at their disposal.
As it is Wolves are just one point above the relegation zone and they have a lot of work to do between now and May.
