The winger could return to Wolves in the summer from Crystal Palace in an attempt to replace Helder Costa.

Bakary Sako improved in each of his three seasons with Wolverhampton Wanderers. To the point that, when he departed in the summer of 2015 after plundering 15 Championship goals, few doubted his ability to make the step up to the Premier League.
However, reports in the Express and Star that Wolves could pursue a deal to bring him back from Crystal Palace in the summer is testament to the fact that his two year spell at Selhurst Park never really lived up to expectations.
Two goals in his first two games for The Eagles, including a winner at Stamford Bridge, gave way to long spells on the sidelines with injury. As it stands, he has not started a single game all season and has become something of a forgotten man.
Therefore, a return to where it all began in English football appears convenient for all parties, especially with talismanic winger Helder Costa looking likely to leave this summer amid reported interest from the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

However, Sako is 29 these days and it appears that his best days are behind him. Furthermore, with fellow widemen Ivan Cavaleiro, Michael Zyro and Jordan Graham already at Paul Lambert’s disposal, and potentially Andreas Weimann if he turns his loan deal from Derby County permanent, where would the former fans favourite fit in?
The supporters are wondering the same thing.
