Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly ready to cash in on Ivan Cavaleiro this summer, with Huddersfield Town interested in the forward.

Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror suggesting that the club could be prepared to cash in on Ivan Cavaleiro this summer with Huddersfield Town eyeing up a potential move for the forward.
Cavaleiro’s arrival in 2016 was arguably one of the first real statements Fosun made following their takeover at Molineux, with the Mirror reporting that Wolves paid £7 million to sign the 24-year-old from Monaco.

It was a promising first year with the club for Cavaleiro as he scored five and provided five assists in the Championship, but he has undoubtedly kicked on significantly during his second year with the club.
He scored nine and provided 12 assists as Nuno Espirito Santo’s men won the second tier title at a canter. Nevertheless, that may prove to be his final season with Wolves as the Daily Mirror reports that they may be prepared to sell to make way for new signings.

The reports however, have largely been met with a sense of disbelief amongst many Wolves fans on social media. Many believe that selling Cavaleiro would be a huge mistake from Nuno’s men, especially as he may end up joining a top flight rival.
There are some who believe that selling the Portuguese is an indication that Wolves will have some exciting signings coming in, but the majority seem to feel that letting him go would be a serious mistake from the side.
Here is some of the reaction to the reports…
