The Wolves centre-back has reportedly agreed a new deal at Molineux until 2021, and some fans made their feelings known on Twitter.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have a great springboard to head into the busy festive period and kick on in 2019.
The West Midlanders go into Saturday’s Premier League home game against Bournemouth having won their last two games, with Chelsea and Newcastle both seen off.
At present, Wolves sit 10th in the table and could go as high as seventh if results go their way, so there is plenty to be positive about from their first campaign back in the top flight.
If a recent report is anything to go by, the Old Gold faithful could have been given a Christmas boost in terms of personnel as one of their main men appears set to sign a new contract.
According to Press Association Sport, as published by several outlets including the Daily Mail and BT Sport, Ryan Bennett has agreed a new two-and-a-half-year deal at Molineux.
The report claims that the 28-year-old centre-back has been offered improved terms to commit his future until 2021, his current deal currently running for 18 more months.

Bennett joined Wolves on a free transfer from Norwich last year and has made 49 appearances for the club, including 15 of this season’s 16 Premier League games (Transfermarkt).
Last term, he became a fixture in the first team towards the end of October and helped Nuno Espirito Santo’s side win the Championship title.
Some Wolves fans took to Twitter and reacted to the report, deeming Bennett worthy of a new deal:
