Wolverhampton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers went head-to-head this weekend.
Wolverhampton Wanderers played out a goalless draw with Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers this weekend, with 17-year-old midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White given another chance to impress from the bench.
The teenager came on for Ben Marshall with 23 minutes remaining and once again he showed his quality.
With Wolves having little left to play for this season other than pride their manager Paul Lambert is able to start experimenting ahead of the next campaign and on this evidence there is a real chance Gibbs-White will be playing regularly at Molineux sooner rather than later.
With many of Wolves’ senior players struggling to get out of second gear against a Blackburn side battling against relegation, it was up to the teenager to generate some excitement in the stands and he did not disappoint.
