Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are unperturbed by the injury suffered by Jonny Castro.

Full name Jonathan Castro Otto, Jonny has been one of the Premier League’s finds of the season so far, having arrived at Wolves from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.

So good is the 24-year-old, he recently made his debut for Spain’s national team – although added the recognition has come at a cost, with damaged knee ligaments ruling him out for the rest of the calendar year.

But rather than fret over Jonny’s absence, the following Wolves fans believe it could be a blessing in disguise, with the popular youngster Ruben Vinagre set to take his place.

This is what they are saying on Twitter…

Vinagre impressed when called upon last season, with perhaps his most notable display coming against Manchester City in the EFL Cup.

But the Portuguese has only played 66 minutes of league football this season, owing to his teammate’s fine form.

Wolves sold their previous first choice, Barry Douglas, to Leeds United to make way for Jonny’s arrival.
