Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the heroics of Divock Origi for Liverpool against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final.
Liverpool won 2-0 against Premier League rivals Tottenham in the final of the Champions League at Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid on Saturday evening.
Origi scored the second goal for the Reds in the 87th minute, having coming on as a substitute in place of Roberto Firmino in the 58th minute.
The 24-year-old Belgium international striker also scored the winning goal in Liverpool’s 4-0 victory over Barcelona at Anfield in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie, which saw them progress to the final 4-3 on aggregate.
Origi was linked with a move to Wolves in the January transfer window, with The Mirror reporting that Nuno’s side wanted to secure the striker’s services for £20 million.
