The Wolves striker has now officially joined Stoke City following his initial loan move and some fans reminisced about the 25-year-old.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that striker Benik Afobe has left the club permanently for a fee reported by Sky Sports News to be £12m.
The 25-year-old joined Stoke City in June on loan with an obligation to buy, just 11 days after he had signed permanently for the Molineux outfit from Bournemouth.
Afobe first joined Wolves in January 2015, moving from Arsenal, but despite scoring 22 goals in 46 appearances, he upped sticks and went to the Vitality Stadium club.
Wolves head of football development and recruitment Kevin Thelwell had accused the forward of “no longer trying to play” for the club in the aftermath of the move, an allegation which the player rejected, as reported by BBC Sport at the time.
Afobe then returned to Molineux on loan from the Cherries in 2018 and scored six goals in 16 appearances as Wolves won the Championship title and gained promotion to the Premier League.
Following his permanent switch to the Potters and Wolves announcing his departure on Twitter, some Wolves fans shared their thoughts on the player:
Afobe has made 26 appearances in the Championship this season for Stoke, scoring six goals and registering two assists (Transfermarkt).
