Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen’s recent comments.

The Wanderers got the better of Leeds 4-1 at the Molineux Stadium in the Championship on Wednesday evening.

Nuno’s side were the better team from start to finish, and the dismissal of Leeds midfielder Ronaldo Vieira on the hour mark helped the home team as well.

After the game, Leeds head coach Christiansen said that Wolves will win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season.

“We have faced the best team in the league,” Christiansen told Express & Star after the defeat to Wolves. “Their pace and movement is exceptional.

“But look at the players they have. Jota, Costa, Cavaleiro, Bonatini, Neves. Who wouldn’t want one of them in their team?

“They are the first team in the league with a lot of quality. I believe they’re going to promoted directly.”

Meanwhile, Leeds legend Eddie Gray has given his take on the dismissal of Vieira against Wolves in the Championship game on Wednesday evening.

The former Scotland international winger has also picked a positive for the Whites from their defeat the Wanderers.

“I don’t think anybody can really argue with it,” Gray told LUTV about Vieira’s dismissal. “I wouldn’t argue with it anyway. I mean, I thought it was a bit of a rash challenge.”

“We can take heart from the second half,” added Gray. “It doesn’t mean anything in the long term, you have lost the game, you have lost the game 4-1, but at least we competed. We competed better in the second half than we did in the first half.”
