Another positive step for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Nouha Dicko.
Nouha Dicko scores for Wolves
Nouha Dicko was on target as Wolves’ under-23 side beat Crewe Alexandra in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Dicko has been out of action for a year since suffering a serious knee injury, but last night was a big positive step in his recovery.
While not classed as a first team game, Dicko was playing against a ‘first team’ of sorts, in the controversially reworked competition.

Dicko netted twice in a 3-2 win for Wolves, with Bright Enokbahare also on target.
The 24-year-old scored 14 goals in the 2014/15 season for Wolves, and had netted once in four league matches last season before sustaining his injury.
He made his first team comeback at the weekend as a substitute in a 2-1 home loss to Norwich City, playing in the final 27 minutes.
With Wolves having a weekend off due to the international break, last night’s fixture came at the perfect time to get Dicko more game time.

He is putting himself in the conversation to be involved against Aston Villa in a fortnight’s time when the league resumes, although a starting spot still may be a big ask.
Dicko remains a popular player with supporters, and his absence has only made them grow fonder of his abilities.
