Wolves were always seen as a bit of a stepping stone for talented star Neves, but now may be the wrong time to leave Molineux.
The team are riding the crest of a wave into the Premier League and are set to invest substantially this summer.
Why would they risk all that by letting their key player leave just as they reach the promised land.
Surely it’s better to keep the team together, add to it, and see if they can achieve something unprecedented on their first season back in the top flight and challenge for top positions?
