Wolves fans react to Leeds ace suffering an injury.
Leeds United star Barry Douglas is out for the rest of the season, the club has confirmed.
Douglas injured his knee in Leeds’ 3-2 win over Millwall, a result which lifted them back into the automatic promotion places.
It ends his involvement in his efforts to win two successive promotions.
Douglas was sold by Wolves in the summer after a prolific season from left-back for the club.
For Leeds it seemed like a deal which was too good to be true.
It has turned out that way, with Douglas missing much of the season with injuries and largely failing to replicate his best Wolves form.
He did at least sign off in a positive manner.
Playing through the pain he provided an excellent assist for Luke Ayling to score in the victory against Millwal.
Wolves fans have acknowledges his season ending injury and largely been wishing him well.
