Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Kortney Hause started his first game for Aston Villa as they were beaten by Brentford on Wednesday night.
Some Wolves fans on Twitter have made their feelings clear about Kortney Hause by labelling him as an ‘agent’ following his performance during Aston Villa’s defeat to Brentford on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old, who is on loan from Molineux, started his first game for Dean Smith’s side as their hopes of potentially making the play-off places took yet another blow.
Versatile defender Hause, who is a natural centre-back, was deployed at left-back by his manager, with first-team player Neil Taylor not in the matchday squad.
Hause has not played much football in recent months, therefore, it was understandable that he looked rusty on the night, with his first touch constantly letting him down.
One Wolves fan stated that it is a ‘shame’ that Villa aren’t getting the best out of the player, while others reminded Smith that he is a centre-back and shouldn’t be playing at full-back.

Hause has only played a total of four games this season, two EFL Cup match for his parent club at the start of the season, a second-half substitute appearance against Wigan for Villa last month & the Wednesday night’s appearance.
It remains to be seen if Smith will continue to stick with the player so he can build up his sharpness and form, with Villa hosting Midland rivals West Brom on Saturday.
Villa are currently sitting seven points outside of the top six and more dropped points in the coming weeks will all but end their hopes of securing a playoff spot.
