Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle United midfielder Jack Colback.

Newcastle United are expected to remain busy in the final few hours of the summer transfer window, with Rafael Benitez looking to bring in new faces as well as shipping out unwanted players to free up space.
One of the players who could leave Newcastle on the deadline day is Jack Colback, who has become surplus to requirements at the club.
According to the Daily Mail’s live transfer blog (12:27), Colback is in talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers about a possible loan move to Molineux.

The 27-year-old spent 15 years with Sunderland, and finally moved to boyhood club in 2014, on a free transfer.
Colback has made almost 100 appearances for Newcastle, but he has slipped down the pecking order at the club behind Jonjo Shelvey, Isaac Hayden and summer signing Mikel Merino.
Wolves have gone through a massive rebuilding phase with new manager Nuno Espirito Santo making a wholesome change to the squad.

They have already signed Ruben Neves, but it seems Nuno is keen to bring Colback as well to add quality and depth to the side.
Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to express their opinion on the transfer rumour. Here are some of the selected tweets:
