Wolves fans react on Twitter to Diogo Jota’s performance against Millwall

Wolverhampton Wanderers won 1-0 against Millwall in the Championship on Saturday.

Wolves move third into the Championship table with a 1-0 win over 10-man Millwall at Molineux.

Diogo Jota scored a superb goal in the 10th minute of the match, and his strike was enough to earn full three points for the home side.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men when Aiden O’Brien was given a second yellow card for pulling back Matt Doherty.

Jota, who joined from Porto on loan this summer, looked class apart and could have added another when his angled drive flashed across the face of the goal.

The 20-year-old had four shots, one key pass, and 90.6% passing accuracy during the match, according to whoscrored.com.

A lot has been said about Wolves’ failure to land a top-class striker this summer. They do need to bolster that department, but if Jota can play like this week in week out, Wolves will only get better and better.
