The long-serving Wolves defender and Molineux academy graduate has completed a permanent move to Stoke City.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that long-serving defender Danny Batth has completed a permanent move to Stoke City.
The 28-year-old Wolves academy graduate, who had been on a season-long loan at Middlesbrough, has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Bet365 Stadium, according to the official Potters website.
Born in Brierley Hill, Batth joined the Wanderers academy at the age of 10 and made 212 appearances for the club, scoring 16 goals, according to Transfermarkt.
The centre-back joins Stoke for an undisclosed fee but, according to Sky Sports News, the sum is understood to be an initial £3million which could rise to £4million.
Batth played 21 times for Wolves last season as they won the Championship title, but was not included in any of Nuno Espirito Santo’s matchday squads at the start of the Premier League season.
Here is how some Wolves fans reacted to the news of their former captain’s departure on Twitter:
Batth follows his former Molineux teammate Benik Afobe, plus Ryan Woods, in completing moves to the Potters this month after their initial loan deals were made permanent.
They will be hoping to get the Staffordshire team into the Championship playoffs from their current league position of 15th place.
