The Wolves Under-23s leading scorer has signed a new deal until 2022 and will spend the rest of the season on loan at Portuguese club FC Famalicao.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that striker Benny Ashley-Seal, one of the Molineux academy’s bright lights, has committed his long-term future to the Premier League club.
The 20-year-old is the Wolves Under-23s leading scorer, with 11 goals in the present Premier League 2 campaign, and is now contracted to the club until the end of the 2021-22 campaign, as confirmed by the official club site.
In addition, Ashley-Seal will be aiming to play first-team football for the remainder of the season, having gone on loan to FC Famalicao, who play in the LigaPro, the second tier of the Portuguese football.
This term, the forward netted for Rob Edwards’ side in the Checkatrade Trophy win over Lincoln City, and was also part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-team squad which travelled on a pre-season trip to Switzerland in the summer.

Ashley-Seal will be hoping to not only develop his game further but also help the Famalicences in their pursuit of promotion to the Primeira Liga, as they currently sit second in the Portuguese second division on 38 points, two behind league leaders Pacos de Ferreira.
