Huddersfield Town are now battling to sign Wolves target Andre Silva.

Ever since The Mirror linked Wolves with a shock move to Andre Silva early in 2018, fans have paid close attention to the AC Milan ace.

Silva is a Portugal international who struggled in his first season in Italy after a £33 million move.

The Sun reported earlier this month Silva is Wolves’ number one target, but now they face new competition from a Premier League rival.

SkySports report via their colleagues at Sky Italia that David Wagner’s Huddersfield Town have expressed an interest in Silva.

Milan’s spending is currently under scrutiny from UEFA and cashing in on Silva is a good way to balance the books.

He could have a starring role at World Cup 2018 which has the potential to influence Milan’s plans and potential asking price.

For a while Wolves fans have seen themselves as the only club in the running for Silva, due to their strong links with his agent Jorge Mendes.
