Wolves have confirmed they have sold striker Nazon.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed on their official website that they have sold striker Duckens Nazon to Dutch Eredivisie side Sint-Truidense V.V for an undisclosed fee – and fans have reacted on Twitter.
The 24-year-old striker failed to make a single senior appearance for the newly-promoted Premier League side, after joining the Midlands club from Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters in January 2017.
The Haiti international was loaned to Coventry City during the first half of the 2017-18 campaign, before returning to Wolves and joining Oldham Athletic until the end of the season on a temporary basis.
Playing in both League Two with Coventry and League One with Oldham, Nazon clocked up 40 appearances in all competitions with both sides, scoring 14 goals and turning provider on a further six assists.
There had been calls for Nazon to be given a chance in the first team following his decent goalscoring form, but instead, Nuno Espirito Santo has decided to sell the striker to the Dutch top-tier side.
Wolves fans reacted to the news that Nazon had left the club on a permanent basis, with the majority of fans believing the club could regret selling him. One fan literally Tweeted: “We will regret this”.
