Wolverhampton Wanderers are one of 12 Premier League clubs to have reportedly watched Birmingham City star Che Adams score in Blues’ 2-1 loss to Middlesbrough last weekend – and Wolves fans believe he is worth signing.

The Mirror claim Premier League and Championship clubs are keen on the 22-year-old attacker, with Wolves, Fulham, Burnley, Huddersfield Town and Leicester City credited with an interested.

Adams has been in excellent form for Garry Monk’s side this season, scoring 13 goals in 27 Championship appearances including a brace in a 2-1 win over league leaders Leeds United. He has scored a third of Birmingham’s league goals.

It has seen plenty of interest arise with two weeks left to go in the January transfer window, and Wolves are said to be keen in bringing him to Molineux from their Midlands rivals.

It remains to be seen how much Wolves would have to pay to sign Adams, with Fulham having a £5million bid rejected in the summer of 2017 for the ex-Sheffield United star.

Wolves fans responded to the rumours over Adams on Twitter, with many of the belief that he would be a worthwhile signing this month as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to keep his side in the top half of the Premier League.
