The Wolverhampton Wanderers academy graduate scored his first senior goal for the Molineux club.
Morgan Gibbs-White has taken to Twitter with a post celebrating his first senior goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers, with the Molineux club also paying homage to the moment on social media.
The 19-year-old opened his account for Wolves in Wednesday’s 4-0 thumping of Newcastle United in the Premier League Asia Trophy at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre in China.
Gibbs-White doubled his side’s lead on 32 minutes, seizing his opportunity after the ball was played into his path following some poor Magpies defending to fire low beyond Freddie Woodman from just outside the box.
Wolves had got off the mark with a fierce Diogo Jota shot on the quarter-hour mark and, following Gibbs-White’s goal, added a third through the Portuguese six minutes before the break, before wrapping up the rout through Thomas Allan’s late own goal.

The goal marks another step in the right direction for Gibbs-White, who in the last two years has helped England win the Under-17s World Cup, made his Premier League debut in the opening fixture of 2018-19, and signed a new contract, committing the next four-and-a-half seasons to Molineux.
