Wolverhampton Wanderers have quite a few players who could be considered fan favourites amongst the current crop but Mexico international Raul Jimenez has to be up there with the most loved.

With 13 goals and eight assists from 32 Premier League games and four goals from six FA Cup games (Transfermarkt), the 28-year-old striker has had a debut season to remember at Molineux.

Jimenez initially joined on a season-long loan from Benfica but it was confirmed earlier this year that he would be joining Wolves permanently as of 1 July, penning a four-year deal to keep him in the West Midlands until 2023.

Fans of El Tri will be hoping that the Tepeji-born forward can spearhead his nation to CONCACAF Gold Cup glory this summer, while the Old Gold faithful are hoping their prodigy can play a significant role in the Premier League and Europa League next season.
